My recent stay at Berghof Thurnergut left me utterly impressed, exceeding my already high expectations. The location, nestled in a stunning rural area, provided a picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. Despite a slight challenge with the steep snowy road, the warm welcome from the owners immediately made up for it. The spacious apartment, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including an iron stove for cozy fires, added a touch of rustic charm to our stay.One of the standout features for me was the delightful dining area, where we savored a delicious breakfast brought to our room, allowing us to enjoy it comfortably in our pajamas. The attention to detail in the clean and well-appointed bathroom, complete with a surprisingly spacious shower, truly exceeded my expectations. The personal touch extended to the farm animals on the property, creating a unique and immersive experience that delighted both adults and children alike. The friendly staff and abundance of activities, from a variety of toys for children to a well-equipped playground, ensured that every moment was filled with joy and relaxation. The genuine hospitality of the owners, who even treated us to homemade ciders and a forest tour, made our stay feel truly special. Berghof Thurnergut is more than just a hotel; it's an enchanting retreat that seamlessly blends comfort, nature, and genuine Austrian hospitality, making it a hidden gem that I can't wait to revisit.
